Welcome to the Town of Camillus!  Founded on March 8, 1799, the Town of Camillus is named after the Roman general Marcus Furius Camillus and is the only Town in the United States to bear that name.  Home to the Erie Canal, historic railways, and political leadership, the Town of Camillus is rich in history! 

The Town of Camillus occupies 35 square miles of land, which includes Fairmount, Amboy-Belle Isle, Warners, and the Village of Camillus and is currently home to 25,346 residents.  We invite you to explore this website and learn about our local government and all our community has to offer!

School Tax Collection
Important News
Onondaga County will begin mailing school tax bills to residents on August 29.  All residents who do not have their bill paid by their mortgage holder should receive a bill by the end of the first week of September.  

Property owners are responsible to pay their tax bill, even if they do not receive the courtesy bill in the mail.  Duplicate tax bills and receipts may be printed from Onondaga County's website:  Onondaga County Real Property Tax - Search

Payments must be postmarked on or before October 1 to avoid penalty.  Payment including applicable penalties may be made until November 15.  Payment may also be made online at the link above.  All payments received by mail or paid online are provided with a receipt.
