Welcome to the Town of Camillus!  Founded on March 8, 1799, the Town of Camillus is named after the Roman general Marcus Furius Camillus and is the only Town in the United States to bear that name.  Home to the Erie Canal, historic railways, and political leadership, the Town of Camillus is rich in history!

The Town of Camillus occupies 35 square miles of land, which includes Fairmount, Amboy-Belle Isle, Warners, and the Village of Camillus and is currently home to 25,346 residents.  We invite you to explore this website and learn about our local government and all our community has to offer!

Hometown Heroes Banners
Important News

Supervisor John Fatcheric and the Town of Camillus are pleased to announce the Hometown Heroes banner program!

Residents can honor their military loved one with a tribute banner that will be affixed to light posts along West Genesee Street within the town.
Each banner is 30" x 60" and features a double-sided image with details about the honoree's military service. The banners will be used for two seasons, after which they will be given to the individual who sponsored it.
Each banner sponsorship is $150 and should be submitted with this application form to the Town Supervisor’s office.
